Add a touch of class and elegance to your special day with our white doves that traditionally represent love, peace and fidelity. Doves released on your wedding day symbolise purity and signify the beginning of a new life together.
Another beautiful time for a dove release is after a baptism or naming ceremony. In biblical stories, the dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit and when you release a dove at a christening ceremony, the dove represents tranquility, peace, and faith.
A white dove release can also be an incredibly moving tribute to a loved one at a funeral or memorial service. Although the loss of a loved one is devastating, a funeral dove release is a chance to celebrate the life of the departed and present a symbol that their spirit will fly free in the world even though their body is gone.
The welfare of our birds is paramount and our doves live in a well ventilated loft in the garden of our home in St John. They are fed an extremely nutritious diet and flown outside regularly.
Our release doves (Rock doves) have homing ability and will fly back to the loft after a release and our Indian fantail doves are smaller and prettier than our fliers, however do not have homing ability, so they are mainly used for display in our decorative cages.
We are members of the RPRA (Royal Pigeon Racing Association)
Whatever your event or occasion a white dove release from Wings of Love will make it an even more beautiful and memorable experience.
