Terre D’Italia: Wine Shop & Gastronomy

With significant help from the experienced team at Jersey Business, Terre d’Italia was launched in December 2018 and has been expanding its product range ever since.

Our selection promotes Italian native grapes and traditional regional food based on some heritage ingredients, all grown in a sustainable environment.

The business aims to allow customers to taste, explore and experience different varieties of grapes, with a selection offered on a wine sampling machine changing regularly. The majority of producers presented in the store are small but professional farmers working in an environmentally-friendly, organic way; in some cases, including biodynamic practices.

A lot of research, technology, but also tradition is used by these producers to deliver their unique style as well as to reflect the qualities of their specific region.

Terre d’Italia also hosts a variety of public events aiming to demonstrate the diversity of the Italian wine and food scene, with an additional focus on the cultural and material history that defined regional styles.

As a complimentary part of the public programme, the shop’s library has a selection of cooking books, books about wine, social and art history, and travel guides. Everybody is welcomed to spend some time in the shop browsing through the selection to get some ideas for a dinner or for future trips to Italy.

The Gifts Section of the store has a selection of a small-sized products, shop’s cards, gift vouchers, and customised hampers.

In addition to themed wine tastings, bespoke events and consultancy, Terre d’Italia is opened for collaboration with local businesses.
